Steve has been a member since 1983 and served as IBSS Treasurer from 2015 – 2019. He comes from Iowa in the US and moved to London in 1978 with an American bank. Steve went on to work for technology companies in London and Madrid, in the sales and marketing area and is now retired. He combined his interest in Russian history with his banking knowledge and started to collect Russian bank shares in the early 1980s. He collects pre-revolutionary Russian pieces, mostly financial and commercial themes and is contributing to the development of Scripoworld. Steve lives with his wife in central London.
